I have question regarding profile configuration. My client needs the same user to have the same profile but it will not be in all companies. So, the purchasing agent might have departments in Company A but not in Company B. Now in the configuration mode the profile gets configured for all companies. Is there anything I am missing which might help me achieve this?

Zetadocs Express: Failed to search for document
We have NAV 2013 R2 configured to work with Zetadocs Express using a Zetadocs Archive (instead of SharePoint).
In Zetadocs General Settings, Archiving is set to Zetadocs Archive and the Service Address is http://10.1.60.44/ZetadocsArchive. Clicking the 'Open in browser' icon next to the address opens up a web page which starts with "ArchiveService Service. You have created a service.".
On the server hosting the service (a different server from the NAV service tier) there's a share called Zetadocs Archive. The service is running under the default 'Local System' account (trying to change it to another account results in a 'semaphore already exists' error and the service won't start). The permissions on the shared directory gives full control to the SYSTEM and domain administrator account and read-only access to Authenticated Users. When logged in as the domain administrator I can connect to the share from another machine using Windows Explorer at \\10.1.60.44\Zetadocs Archive and add files successfully.
The Zetadocs Express FactBox has been added to various pages including the Sales Order using the Zetadocs Express Page Modifier tool. Opening the Sales Order page gives the Documents FactBox which says 'Drag Files Here'. Dragging a file there results in the file being added to the archive folder (along with a 2nd file called 94e7514d-e82c-4ff6-8d80-c3836563208c.zdx) but the factbox then shows an error saying "Failed to search for documents. To solve the problem, please contact your administrator". Closing the order and reopening it removes the error and shows the file attachment. Clicking the attachment then results in an error saying "Failed to download document: 94e7514d-e82c-4ff6-8d80-c3836563208c. To solve the problem, please contact your administrator". Opening either file (the attachment or the .zdx file) directly from the network share \\10.1.60.44\Zetadocs Archive works fine.
On other pages (such as the Item, again modified with the interface tool), dragging a file to the documents factbox gives an error saying "Failed to archive document. To solve the problem, please contact your administrator" and the file is not added to the share.
I've tried turning the firewall off on both machines and that has no effect, I've tried installing the Zetadocs Archive on a different server and get the same result, and I've tried from different NAV databases with the same results each time. Any ideas what could be wrong?

German Training Materials NAV 2009
Hello,
I'm searching for a possibility to download NAV 2009 training materials in german.
I couldn't find any german material within the Partner Source (Student Training Materials) or the Dynamics Learning Portal. And even in english there is only "Job Costing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 (Third Party Content)".
Is all gone or is there an archive I just can't find - or am I searching at the wrong place?

How to return items received and how to return invoiced items?
A purchase order is raised for 1000 Nos. @ 100 per unit.
1000 Nos are received to the warehouse using Warehouse receipt
Only 750 items are invoiced @ 100 per unit
Balance 250 items should be returned.
Of the 750 items invoiced, 10 items should be returned using with Credit Memo.
How can we perform this process?

Adjusting (expected) costs of uninvoiced purchase orders
Hi,
I hope somebody can help me with the issue below. Is it in any way possible to adjust the (expected) costs for a purchase order which is received, consumed but at an incorrect price?
I do have a purchase order which is received and the quantity is consumed. However, the purchase price of the bought item was incorrect in the system. Therefore, the actual cost of the consumption and sales is incorrect. Is it possible to adjust it without posting the purchase invoice? As in our industry it can take some time before we receive a proper invoice...

Raising Sales invoices from EU to Russia
Is there a way of raising sales invoice which have zero vat (as they are export invoices to Russia) but also show Russian VAT of 18% for the customer. At the moment a sales invoice is raised in Dynamics and then a manual invoice is raised in Excel to send to client. This results in inefficiencies in our processes due to duplication.
Any suggestions on this would be very much appreciated!

Download NAV Demo database
I'm a MS PArtner building an integration with NAV and need a fat database filled with lots of demo data (several years and many transactions). I just got have access to PartnerSource but fail to find anything useful there. Is there such a sample database and anyone know how to find a link to download it.
I'm not sure if I want the 2009, 2013 or the 2015 version but would like to start with the version today commonly used by midsize/ large customers.

Hello Friends!! I have two questions today.
1st Ques: I am using Microsoft Dynamics Navision v4 and would like to know if it is possible to do programming or write codes for defining specific tasks in it like forms, functions etc and if so how?? I think Pascal is used for that.
2nd Ques: I am trying to setup Inventory/Warehouse. First of all it alerted me to put my userid in warehouse employee table for accessing the following tables. Now I am getting access to the tables after putting the userid. But now I am unable to do anything or functions do not work as follow:

Zetadocs express for NAV search
